Code from Finland Association has been building a “coalition of the willing” in Finland to create a European sovereign alternative to global hyperscalers.
The alternative platform is planned to be ecosystem-based and built from interoperable services, instead of the current monolithic, single-vendor platforms.
The coalition has three goals:
- Ensure that a truly sovereign European alternative and ecosystem are built.
- Ensure that Finnish companies capture a sizable share of the ecosystem market.
- Enhance the commercial viability of the solution so that it will be adopted globally, especially in Asia and Africa.
Joining the coalition is free for any Finnish organization, and membership does not require any specific actions. However, it is strongly recommended that your organization contributes value to the rest of the coalition.
Code from Finland will organize, with the support of AI Finland, a kick-off event on June 10th at 13:00 (UTC +3), both at Eteläranta 10 and online. The venue in Eteläranta has space for 60 participants.
