SUMMARY:Where does your data go when you use AI?
DESCRIPTION:More and more of us work with an AI assistant: a chat app on th
e desktop that reads the files in a folder we point it at\, Copilot inside
Microsoft 365\, or a coding assistant that writes and fixes code alongsid
e a developer. To help\, the assistant needs to see the material. But it d
oes not look at it on your computer. It sends it to the company that runs
the AI model\, often in the United States. That includes the documents and
emails it opens and\, for developers\, the code and even customer records
the assistant is allowed to read.\n\nThis is how the technology works. Wh
at matters is whether anyone in your organisation has decided where that i
nformation goes\, under what terms\, and under which country's law. In mos
 t organisations\, nobody has.\n\nIn this webinar we show\, live on screen\
, what leaves a laptop when an AI assistant gets to work\, and what you ca
n do about it without giving up the benefits of AI.\nThe speaker\n\n\nJann
 i Turunen\, Chief Technology Officer\, Trail Openers\n\nJanni Turunen has
worked with artificial intelligence for more than ten years\, helping comp
anies turn the technology into real business results – today increasingl
y with large language models. She has built AI that helps an international
investment firm find new investment opportunities\, recommendation engine
s built on embedding models for a career platform with millions of job see
kers\, and\, more recently\, AI agents and the tooling that keeps them on
track.\n\nShe has assessed the AI readiness of insurers\, large banks and
industrial companies\, and sets up and runs openly available AI models in
settings where privacy comes first\, for a range of uses.\nWho it is for\n
Anyone who cares where their organisation's data ends up and wants Europe
to keep its own options in AI: people who lead software development\, IT o
r data protection\, people who choose AI tools\, and developers who use th
em every day.\n\nNo technical background is needed. We hope for a conversa
tion as much as a talk\, with time kept for questions and shared experienc
es.\nRegistration\nYou can register via Lyyti or by sending an email to vi
 estinta@koodiasuomesta.fi.
